ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A. Advanced Diploma (A1) in General nursing and Midwifery:

  1. Candidates have completed secondary education in MCB, PCB, BCG, Former Bio- Chimie or Math-Physique) and nursing sciences with a license.
  2. Grade A, B, C, and D in Biology and Chemistry, plus at least a subsidiary in Mathematics, Physics, or Geography).
  3. Candidates who have studied abroad must provide equivalence from HEC.
  4. Ability to study in English.
  5. Copy of National ID or Valid Passport.
  6. Proof of payment of Non Refundable Fees of 10.000 FRW using Urubuto Pay platform (Dial *775*2#)

B. Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Midwifery with Honours (Upgrading programme):

  1. The candidate should have an Advanced Diploma.
  2. Candidates who have studied abroad must provide equivalence from HEC.
  3. Having a valid license to practice as a registered nurse or registered midwifery.
  4. Passed with 70% to be admitted.
  5. Other candidates with average of less than 70% of marks will pass the interview before being admitted.
  6. Having working experience in recognized health institution of 2 years.
  7. Having a valid criminal record and employer recommendation letter.
  8. Copy of National ID or Valid Passport.
  9. Ability to study in English

C. Bachelor of Science in Midwifery with Honours (Direct Entry programme):

  1. Candidates have completed secondary education in MCB, PCB, BCG, Former Bio- Chimie or Math-Physique) and nursing sciences with a license.
  2. Grade A, B, and C in Biology and Chemistry, plus at least a subsidiary in Mathematics, Physics, or Geography).
  3. Candidates who have studied abroad must provide equivalence from HEC.
